Welcome to our online home! Please feel free to look around the website and if you like what you see, come along and give it a go. There’s no age limit, the dancers are women but musicians can be male or female.

Who are we?
We are a Morris side based in Cardiff, South Wales; we first danced in public in 1973 and were founder members of the Morris Federation. We currently meet for practice at Rookwood Hospital in Llandaff on Tuesday evenings, unless we're dancing out maybe at a local pub or two.

Dances
We like to put on a varied show of Morris and entertain the public. Our Llareggub tradition was created by Cardiff Ladies and is solely danced by us. The name is taken from Dylan Thomas's famous play Under Milk Wood: we don't take ourselves too seriously - read Llareggub backwards! Other dances in our repertoire originate from the Cotswolds and the Welsh Borders.

Musicians
We have several musicians at present who play various types of squeezebox, the fiddle, penny whistle and occasionally Welsh bagpipes. Other musicians will be made most welcome and any instrument would be considered but it would help if it's acoustic and portable!

Want to join?
We offer a warm welcome to those who would like to give Morris a go. It's great fun and a good way to keep fit. If you'd like to come to one of our practices and find out if Morris dancing is for you, please get in touch with one of the contacts below for further details.

Bookings
If you would like us to appear at an event you are organising, either for a dance performance or a 'try-me' session, please contact our secretary or foreman (details below).
